Can I switch plans anytime?
Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade anytime:
- Upgrade: Takes effect immediately, you're charged the prorated difference
- Downgrade: Takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- Cancel: You keep access until the end of your paid period
What happens if I downgrade from Pro to Artist?
Your content is hidden, not deleted:
- Tracks beyond 10: Hidden from your site (not deleted)
- Fans beyond 500: Archived (not deleted)
- Merch products: Disabled (not deleted)
- Custom CSS: Disabled (not deleted)
Upgrade again anytime to restore everything immediately.
Do you take commission on tips or merch sales?
Zero. Never.
We pass through Stripe's standard 2.9% + 30¢ transaction fee with zero markup. You keep 100% of your revenue minus Stripe's processing fee.
We make money from subscriptions, not your sales.
What happens if I hit my fan limit on Artist?
Your signup form stays active and keeps collecting emails. You'll see an "Upgrade to Pro" prompt in your dashboard, but existing fans remain accessible.
We'll never turn off your signup forms or lose fan data.
Can I use my own domain on both plans?
Yes! All paid plans include custom domain connection with free automatic SSL certificates.
You'll get setup instructions and SSL provisioning happens automatically (usually 1-2 minutes).
Can I try Pro before paying?
Yes! Your 30-day free trial includes full Artist access. If you want to test Pro features:
- Upgrade to Pro during your trial
- You won't be charged until after 30 days
- Downgrade to Artist anytime before trial ends

Yes! If you already own a domain (from GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.):

- Update DNS settings to point to Sonic Bloom
- We'll provision SSL automatically
- No transfer needed - just DNS updates
Do I need to know how to code?
Nope! Sonic Bloom is fully visual - no coding required.
Pro users can add custom CSS if they want advanced design control, but it's totally optional.
How do I upgrade?
- Go to Dashboard → Subscription
- Click "Upgrade Plan"
- Choose Artist or Pro
- Select Monthly or Annual billing
- Enter payment information
- Click "Confirm Subscription"
Your new features activate immediately!
How do I cancel?
- Go to Dashboard → Subscription
- Click "Cancel Plan"
- Confirm cancellation
- You keep access until the end of your current billing period
- Your site becomes inactive after the period ends
- Your data is saved for 90 days (can be restored by resubscribing)
