How do I backup my music and data?

Your data is automatically backed up on our secure servers, but you can also download your content anytime.

Automatic Backups

We automatically backup all your data:

  • Daily backups of all content
  • Redundant storage across multiple data centers
  • 30-day backup retention

You don't need to do anything - your data is safe.

Manual Downloads

You can download your content anytime:

Music Files

  1. Go to your Track Library in the dashboard
  2. Click on any track
  3. Click the "Download" button
  4. Save the original file to your computer

You can download individual tracks or bulk download all tracks.

Fan Data

  1. Go to Analytics โ†’ Data Export
  2. Select the data you want (email list, fan interactions, etc.)
  3. Choose format (CSV or Excel)
  4. Click "Export"

Website Content

  1. Go to Settings โ†’ Export Data
  2. Select what to export:
    • Profile information
    • Show/event listings
    • Blog posts
    • Page content
  3. Download the export file

Export Formats

  • Music files: Original format (MP3, WAV, FLAC, etc.)
  • Data exports: CSV or Excel
  • Content: JSON or PDF

Best Practices

We recommend:

  • Keep local copies of your master recordings
  • Export your fan data monthly
  • Download your content before canceling your account

Data Retention

If you cancel your subscription:

  • Your data is retained for 90 days
  • You can reactivate and restore everything within that window
  • After 90 days, data may be permanently deleted

Always download what you need before canceling!
